[Press release] The Loire Wine Trade Fair, which opens its doors from 2 to 4 February 2015, is getting a new look and making the most of it to inject a bit of dynamism into the Wine Blog Trophy, which is being run for the ninth time. The Wine Blog Trophy, a key event for wine blogging enthusiasts, is back with a whole new format and is going international by opening up the competition to all English-speaking bloggers. By crossing borders with the Wine Blog Trophy, the Loire Wine Trade Fair is reviewing its aims of this event and helping Loire wines to shine around the globe via bloggers.
For the 2015 edition, the running of the Wine Blog Trophy has been entirely rethought. The Loire Wine Trade Fair is inviting French- and English-speaking bloggers, who want to take part, to sign up on the dedicated website (www.wineblogtrophy.com). The first 50 bloggers registered will receive 2 mystery bottles of Loire wines at home, totally blind. Bloggers are then put to the famous blind-tasting test. The 50 participants have to then guess the appellation and vintage of the two wines tasted. Hence, the first person to give the right answer on the competition site, will win the Wine Blog Trophy!
The blogger who guesses the two wines’ appellation and vintage, will be invited to the Loire Wine Trade Fair for a special award ceremony on Wednesday 4 February 2015. They’ll win a Wine Art from EuroCave and two fabulous Loire wines.
